I dealt with Big Mike who had great customer service & seemed knowledgable, that’s why I’m giving it two stars but unfortunately, I want to warn others of my experience. Had warranty work done on a vehicle for a transmission and the technician or technicians who worked on it broke my starter and zip tied it in and forgot to put bolts in my coolant reservoir. I would’ve gladly purchased those parts to replace if there was a known issue during repair as mistakes happen. If you use them, check the work before picking up the vehicle. Hiding faults & terrible work ethic cost them my future business. The fact it was a come back to begin with should’ve had the technicians on their A game.

Fantastic service, friendly staff, great communication! My 2009 Subaru Outback needed a torque converter, and once the new unit arrived, they had the car ready the next day. Car is buttery smooth now, and the 12 month warranty puts me at ease. If I ever need transmission service again, these are the folks I'm gonna call! 10/10 HIGHLY recommend. If you need transmission work done, don't go anywhere else!

My trusted mechanic at City Garage sent me to Big Mike's shop for additional diagnostics. Big Mike and his staff are very welcoming, kept me informed at every detail/step, squeezed me in earlier than my original appointment, and took the time to give me an honest opinion on my car moving forward.

BEWARE! Terrible communication, "colorful" stories and excuses and less than professional. Feb 2023 had 700r4 rebuilt at Priced Rite for a project car 1935 Ford. I installed the trans, continued to build the car until October 2023. After a back fusion and knee replacement i was able to continue the build. April of 2025 it was being road tested to work out the "bugs". noticed a significant leak of fluid from the transmission. While i was trying to figure out where the leak came from i noticed stripped bolts in the case, its aluminum and they are known to strip when over torquing. I installed thread inserts (most shops i have used do this routinely as part of a rebuild). After doing the work there was still the same leak. Mike agreed to inspect and repair the leak. June i paid to have the car transported to his shop. it was there a week. I paid $200 as a courtesy since it was "out of warranty" but only driven 20 miles. long story short it still leaks after returning two more time. I do not get return phone call now. my suggestion is to find a different shop to have your repairs done.

I have had my truck towed to Big Mike/Priced Rite Transmission twice now and both times they have done a great job and the price was right, just like the business name. If I have any future problems with any of my vehicles I'll bring them back to Big Mike. Thank you for your honest and fair service!
